I wanted to make a little browser-native diffusion “story game” where matter would spread, get absorbed, and eventually interact with walls, painting, and flow.

The first page of that idea is still here as First Breath, and it does work as a WebGPU toy. It emits a plume, diffuses it across the field, and renders the whole thing on the GPU.

What never happened was the part after that.

I had ambitions for this to become a sequence of pages with more interaction and more of an actual game structure, but this one stopped at the MVP stage. So this is less of a launch announcement and more of a marker for a side project that almost became something bigger.

There is still a thing there if you want to click around. Just do not mistake “there is a working page” for “this turned into a finished project,” because it definitely did not.
